He is a purebred golden retriever. He is red in color and absolutely gorgeous. He is almost 6 months of age, and steadily growing 😊 He is current on all age appropriate vaccines, Including his Rabies, and Bordatella vaccines. He is microchipped, and has been thourely examined through our vet whom has cleared him to find a home all his own ☺️
He is not yet neutered, as he is much to young. It is best to wait until his growth plates fully close before sterilization to aid in his proper growth as he matures into adulthood ❤️ He will be going home with a neuter contract, which is to be completed when it's safe to do so.
He is crate trained, and sleeps through the night in his crate peacefully without any accidents whatsoever. He is doing VERY good at house training and hasn't had any accidents in over a month of being with us, as he understood the concept of "outside," fairly quickly. He aims to please, and is very attentive to what we ask of him which has made training very easy with him.
He is doing phenomenal at leash training. He really enjoys his walks, and while he is still learning the world, and all that's in it he is taking it one step at a time. In time he will master every noise, smell, and friend he encounters on his walks and will embrace them all with his curious heart and wagging tail ☺️
He is WONDERFUL with every single dog and cat he meets, and is an instant friend to ALL. He is very submissive by nature, and has an extremely docile temperament. Being SWEET is an understatement!! He is a complete LOVE.
He is QUIET. He is NOT a barker at ALL!! He is very NATURALLY serene tempered. He is that golden that you dream of calling yours. He is well mannered. Has a beautiful, caring, doting heart. He is compassionate, and will lay his head in your lap after you've had a long day and just need someone to make it all better ❤️
He is an exceptional road trip partner!!! He rides beautifully in the car, no matter the distance. He will lay in the back seat, in his bed, and simply enjoy the ride 🙂
He is wonderful at bath time, and LOVES when we get to the part of brushing him because he really enjoys the one on one pampering he gets during that time with his person ☺️
His prior owners smaller senior dogs were not nice to him at all, they attempted to try and make things work but in the end their seniors wouldn't accept him and they knew it wasn't fair to him to live his life scared of the ones he looked to as friends 😢
His adoption fee in total is 1500. It covers his vet costs til now which include his vaccines, microchip/registration, exam with our vet who will also be sending home a health certificate with him, along with the care associated with the time he has been here with us, and his training we have personally done 💙
Transport costs will be separate and in addition to his adoption fee if you aren't local to us here.
