Toffee is pure joy wrapped up in the sweetest, softest little body you could imagine 🥹

He is my most playful boy… always tapping his little paws at you, asking you to slow down and give him your attention. He is constantly engaging, always trying to pull you into his world of fun, joy, and connection.

What makes Toffee so special is this beautiful mix of confidence and shyness. His spirit is so bright, so full of life, that he can’t contain it… he dances, he frolics, he lights up the room. And then the moment you stop to hold him and love on him… he gets shy in the sweetest way, like he’s still learning how to receive the love he so clearly craves 🥹

Toffee is going to blossom in the most beautiful way in his own home. He just needs someone who sees him, who reassures him, and gives him the time to grow into his confidence.

Toffee is a poodle/cocker spaniel mix with a soft, hypoallergenic coat, and we expect him to be around 18–20 lbs full grown.

His journey to us began with love and ended in heartbreak. His previous owner had been quietly battling cancer, and after reaching remission, chose to bring joy back into her life. She went to pick up one puppy and came home with all three, unable to leave the others behind.

Sadly, her remission was short-lived, and when her cancer returned, it was aggressive. She passed away in her home, and a caring neighbor stepped in immediately to ensure the puppies were safe. Working with the owner’s daughter, who could not take them in, she helped guide them to us so we could continue their journey to finding loving homes.

Toffee has been fully vetted from scratch. He has received multiple DA2PP vaccines, two Bordetella vaccines, and his rabies vaccine. His fecal test came back negative, he is microchipped, and has had a full veterinary exam with a health certificate ready for his future family.

He has not yet been neutered, as we recommend allowing proper development. He will go home on a neuter contract with timing between 10–12 months of age.

Toffee is doing amazing with house training on a consistent 2–3 hour schedule and has kept our home accident free. He is crate trained, sleeps peacefully through the night, and does great on car rides.

He is wonderful with other dogs, great with cats, and very sweet with men, women, and children alike. He enjoys grooming, bath time, and is a total water lover 💦

Leash training will be new for him, but he is very food motivated, which will make training both fun and rewarding. We recommend continuing with a positive reward system and keeping a good variety of treats on hand.

Toffee is going to bring so much happiness into someone’s life… he just needs someone willing to meet him where he is and grow with him 🩵
