Meet our tiny yet mighty girl Wendy, a Maltese/Poodle mix with a heart that’s every bit as big as her personality. Weighing just 3.9 lbs, and born on February 6, 2025, this petite little lady still has a touch of growing left to do, but nothing major as she is pretty much full grown at this point.

Wendy came to us from a loving family who simply couldn’t give her the time and attention she deserved. They wanted better for her, a home where her days would be filled with companionship and care rather than long hours alone so they entrusted us with finding that special place for her to thrive.

From the moment she arrived, Wendy captured our hearts. She is kind, affectionate, and endlessly gentle. She adores everyone she meets dogs, cats, and children alike, and approaches the world with quiet sweetness and curiosity. There’s not an ounce of bark or fuss in her; Wendy carries herself with soft confidence and grace that make her a joy to be around.

She’s also wonderfully trained, pad trained and accustomed to being accompanied outdoors for potty breaks due to her small size and the wildlife around our property. Routine is something she understands and thrives on, and her new family will find her beautifully easy to adjust to their schedule.

When it comes to pampering, Wendy is the definition of poise. She’s excellent at the groomer’s, patient and calm as if she knows she’s being made beautiful. Those who meet her often comment on her sweet expression and the way she seems to lean into affection with quiet trust. She is truly the kind of dog who soaks in love and gives it right back tenfold.

During her initial veterinary exam, our vet noticed some tenderness around her eyes caused by hardened eye crusts that had built up prior to her arrival. After a gentle cleaning, her skin was temporarily raw and sensitive — but with proper care and daily love, it has healed beautifully. ❤️‍🩹 Today, her eyes shine bright and healthy, and she’s thriving once more.

She is a fantastic traveler too — an easy road trip buddy who settles in calmly and enjoys the ride. Whether she’s watching the scenery from your lap or snoozing softly in her carrier, Wendy takes every journey in stride, happy just to be part of it all.

Her adoption fee is $2,000, which includes her spay, vaccines, microchip/registration, and full veterinary exam. Each step of her care, from her medical visits to her daily training, grooming, and socialization has been poured into her with love and intention, preparing her for the forever family she so deserves.

Wendy is more than just a companion, she’s a blessing in miniature form. Her gentle spirit, loving eyes, and undeniable sweetness remind us daily how special it is to love and be loved by one of God’s precious creations.
