Meet our beautiful Ella 🩷

Ella is a 2-year-old Maltipoo who weighs 13 pounds full grown, and she is truly one of those dogs who makes you wonder how you ever got lucky enough to know her.

She is the sweetest, kindest, most loving little girl with a naturally happy personality and a heart that seems to have room for absolutely everyone. Ella is incredibly friendly and outgoing, loves people, loves other dogs, and approaches life with such an easy, joyful nature. She doesn’t need much time to decide you’re a friend—she pretty much assumes you already are. 🩷

Ella came to us after changes within her previous family’s circumstances meant they were no longer able to continue providing the home and care they wanted for her. It had nothing to do with Ella herself. She was clearly loved, and that shows in the trusting, affectionate little dog she is today.

She is completely house trained and has wonderful manners in the home. She goes outside to use the restroom when asked and has adapted beautifully to our routine here. As with any dog transitioning into a new home, her new family will establish their own schedule with her, but Ella already understands what is expected of her and has a fantastic foundation.

She is crate trained as well and sleeps peacefully through the night without any fuss. She could certainly continue sleeping in her crate, but she would also transition easily to a dog bed of her own—or your bed if that’s where you’d prefer your little girl to be. I don’t think Ella would object to that arrangement one bit. 😂🩷

Her leash manners are wonderful, and she genuinely enjoys her walks. She is the kind of dog you can picture taking along for all the little parts of everyday life—a neighborhood stroll, an afternoon out, visiting friends or family, or hopping in the car to see where the day takes you. She travels beautifully and has been very comfortable experiencing new places and environments with us.

Ella is fantastic with other dogs and has been very well socialized. She interacts appropriately, enjoys their company, and fits easily into a group without needing to be the center of attention. She could happily share her home with another friendly dog, but she is also so connected to people that she would be perfectly content soaking up all the love as her family’s only dog.

She is wonderful for grooming and handling, which is especially important for a Maltipoo who will require regular coat maintenance throughout her life. She does very well being brushed, picked up and handled, having her feet touched, and going through the normal grooming routine.

We have continued working with Ella on all of the everyday skills that help a dog transition successfully into family life. Her house manners, crate training, leash work, car rides, grooming manners, socialization, routines, boundaries, and confidence in different environments have all been reinforced while she has been with us. She’s intelligent, attentive, adaptable, and genuinely wants to be part of whatever her people are doing.

Her personality has such a lovely balance to it. She is playful and fun when it’s time to do something, but she also knows how to settle down and simply enjoy being near you. She’s affectionate without being demanding and confident without being pushy. Ella doesn’t need constant entertainment to be happy—sometimes being beside her person is more than enough.

And there is just something exceptionally kind about this girl.

Ella loves wholeheartedly. She has such a gentle sweetness in the way she connects with people, and being loved comes very naturally to her. She’s the little girl who happily follows along with your day, curls up nearby when things are quiet, and lights right back up the moment you ask if she wants to go somewhere with you.

Her veterinary care has been completed, and Ella is officially ready for the next chapter of her life. She has been spayed, is current on her yearly vaccines including rabies and Bordetella, is microchipped, has received a thorough veterinary examination and clearance, and has had a complete dental cleaning. She will go home with all of her medical records.

Ella’s adoption fee is $2,000. Her fee helps cover her completed veterinary care, including her spay, vaccines, microchip, examination and dental cleaning, as well as her overall care, grooming, training, and socialization while with us.

There really isn’t much more we could ask of this little girl.

Ella isn’t waiting for someone to teach her how to be a wonderful dog.

She already is one. 🩷

Now she just needs the family who gets to call her theirs.
