Stormie is pending adoption 🩷

There are some dogs who have a way of making you smile without ever trying.

That’s Stormie.

From the moment she wakes up in the morning until the moment she curls up to go to sleep at night, she lives life with a heart full of joy. Her tail is almost always wagging, she greets each new day as though it’s the greatest adventure she’s ever been given, and she has yet to meet a person she doesn’t believe deserves to be her friend. There isn’t a mean bone in this sweet girl’s body. She simply loves people, loves other dogs, and loves life.

Born on August 26, 2025, Stormie is a beautiful Poodle and Scottish Terrier mix weighing right around 18 pounds. She may gain another pound or two as she finishes growing, but she’ll remain the perfect size to accompany you wherever life takes you. Whether it’s a morning walk, a weekend road trip, exploring a new hiking trail, or simply relaxing together at home, Stormie is happiest when she’s by your side.

Watching Stormie grow over the past several months has been such a privilege. She still carries the playful wonder and curiosity of a puppy, but she’s already developing into an incredibly well-mannered young dog. She approaches new experiences with confidence, eagerly greets new faces with a wagging tail, and has an amazing ability to make everyone around her feel like they’ve known her forever.

One of the things we love most about Stormie is how naturally she fits into everyday life. She has an easygoing personality that allows her to adapt beautifully to new environments, and her joyful spirit is simply contagious. Whether she’s playing with other dogs, accompanying you on errands, meeting friends, or spending a quiet evening at home, she gives every moment her whole heart.

Stormie is wonderful with other dogs and truly enjoys making new friends wherever she goes. She would thrive in a home with another playful companion or be just as happy soaking up all the love as your one and only. Her affectionate, outgoing personality allows her to bond quickly with the people around her, and before you know it, she’ll feel like she’s always been part of your family.

She has excellent manners for such a young girl. Stormie is fully house trained, crate trained, walks beautifully on leash, rides wonderfully in the car, and is an absolute pleasure for the groomer. While she sleeps comfortably in her crate if that’s what her new family prefers, she has also proven herself to be incredibly trustworthy in the home and would do just as well sleeping on one of her favorite dog beds or even beside her family if invited. She simply wants to be wherever the people she loves are.

Stormie’s Poodle heritage gives her an incredibly intelligent, eager-to-please personality along with her soft, hypoallergenic coat, while her Scottish Terrier side brings confidence, charm, and just the right amount of playful mischief. Together, they’ve created a dog that is affectionate without being overly demanding, playful without being overwhelming, and adaptable enough to fit beautifully into so many different lifestyles.

Her previous owner loved her deeply but found themselves in a position where they could no longer give her the life she deserved. Wanting what was truly best for Stormie, they made the incredibly selfless decision to entrust us with finding her a family who would love her for the rest of her life. It was a decision made entirely out of love, and we promised we would do everything we could to find the perfect home for this remarkable little girl.

If your home has been missing laughter, unconditional love, and the kind of companion who reminds you to find joy in the little things, we have a feeling Stormie may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for.

Her adoption fee is $1,800. This includes her spay, current vaccinations, microchip and registration, complete veterinary examination, deworming, and all of the love, care, grooming, socialization, and training she has received while preparing for the family she has always deserved.
