ADOPTED ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Meet Pelia. She turns 7 in November of this year. She is a yorkie mix❤️ We were GRACED with this BEAUTIFUL yet defeated, neglected, mistreated, and abused little miracle. She came to us matted, full of ticks, a mouth full of bad decaying teeth, and her owner 'failed' to tell us she was also partially blind. She was used for breeding and we were 'advised' she makes gorgeous babies so her 'owner' thought maybe we should 'reconsider' spaying her! The reason she rehomed her? Her last litter she only bore one baby and it died, and now she became a bad mother incapable of breeding so they no longer wanted her. They told me they only originally took her in because her first owner didn't want her either. Imagine that? Imagine living in a world that you are passed around to be used, abused, and neglected then tossed out like garbage. What is one man's trash is another man's treasure and the day I found her I hit the jackpot!! She will never be treated badly again and this is why you should never support backyard breeders!!! Ever!! This mom, she suffered at the hands of people she devoted her life to over and over again. And the day we brought her home was the day she finally was able to rest.. and the day we decided to name her Pelia, meaning Miracle of God. She has been groomed and is finally free of ALL her matts. My groomer said she was an angel for her and did exceptionally well in all areas my groomer is a special lady and I wish she was on Instagram becuase she helps my babies feel sooo much better everytime she gets her hands on them that she deserves to be shared too! She was seen by our vet and he didn't waste anytime!! Her gums were so bad they were full of puss pockets and dangling teeth. He decided to get everything done in one shot so that her healing could begin THEN and THERE. She was spayed, recieved her vaccines, microchipped, had both ears cleaned and treated due to having double ear infections, and had a dental where she had 8 more teeth removed. She has many missing teeth already, and will more than likely be on a soft diet for the rest of her life. Her eyes.. it's not glaucoma!!! Praise God! She has cataracts in both eyes, which is NOT causing her ANY pain and may be able to be corrected later down the line if she is healthy enough to go through the surgery. I believe if she made it this far then when that day comes she will be able to go all the way!!! She is sleeping a lot.. probably the most sleep she has had in a long time, and that's fine with us. She deserves peace.. and now she deserves a new happy beginning in a home and family of her own. She is by far the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She LOVES to be snuggled and loved on. She is an absolute gift from God and she will change someone's entire world just by adding herself to it. We have spent ALOT on her vetting care and recovery and even with her needing cataract surgery down the line, our costs here have exceeded in what we could ever ask for back in return, but are willing to take a donation in any amount your heart feels compelled to donate and yes it's 100 percent tax deductible. And yes! We can come to you and would be honored to do so to see her all the way home. Please contact us today and tell us all about yourself and the world she would be joining. Thank you!
