Adopted 💙
Meet Ozzie! He is a purebred miniature poodle (He is just rocking the teddy bear cut!) He turns 1 in October of 2025. He currently weighs 13 lbs. He has a little more growth left, but not much as he is almost fully matured. He is at a great size, and weight as of now 💙 He is neutered, microchipped, current on all of his vaccines, has been dewormed, examined thourely by our vet, and has been cleared to find a home all his own!
Let me tell you what truly sets Ozzie apart: he’s a thinker. This boy is always quietly observing the world around him. Whether it’s watching people interact, birds flutter outside the window, or simply soaking in the moment, Ozzie takes it all in—as if trying to remember every detail for himself. He can’t tell you what he sees, but he stores it all away in that sweet little heart of his.
Ozzie is gentle and shy at first, but he warms up quickly. Once he feels safe, he transforms into the most loving cuddle bug. Holding him feels like therapy—like a reminder to slow down, breathe, and cherish the small moments we often take for granted. Cuddle sessions with him will absolutely be on your daily to-do list. He gives love quietly but deeply, and he has so much of it to give.
He is house trained and currently goes out every 3–4 hours for bathroom breaks and playtime. He’s doing wonderfully with this routine, and we strongly encourage a structured schedule in his next home, too.
He is crate trained and uses his crate to nap during the day and sleep at night. He’s very well conditioned to his crate, so whether you use it for downtime or sleeping, he will adjust beautifully.
Ozzie is smart and incredibly responsive—he picks up on verbal cues and body language easily, so communication is key to his continued training and development ❤️
Leash training is still new, but he has been acclimated to both collar and leash indoors. He’s done well so far, but with the summer heat, outdoor time has been limited. He loves being outside to play but equally loves the comfort of a cool, air-conditioned home to lounge in afterward.
Ozzie gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. He has befriended every animal he’s met in our care, and he would love having a furry friend in his new home—but he’ll thrive just as much as your one-and-only, too. His heart is full when he knows he’s loved and included ❤️
He’s not a barker, but he will alert you to unfamiliar noises. He’s very aware of his surroundings and quick to pick up on what’s out of the ordinary. A gentle “no barking” is usually enough to reassure him that you’ve got things handled.
He’s great on road trips! Whether it’s a quick drive into town or a longer journey, he’s happy to be along for the ride—either snoozing in the back seat or gazing out the window, quietly taking in the world with those thoughtful eyes.
He’s also a sweetheart at the groomers—soaking up every bit of attention and returning belly rubs with sweet kisses.
Ozzie came from a breeder—an older woman who could no longer maintain her program and needed help placing her remaining pups and adults. His socialization and training began with us, and we’re so proud of how much he’s grown and learned in our care.
Ozzie’s adoption fee is 2000 total.
His fee covers his neuter, vaccines, microchip/registration, baby teeth extractions, fecal lab testing, deworming, full veterinary exam, ongoing care, grooming, and the socialization and training he’s received in our home 💙
If you’re looking for a thoughtful, observant companion who will quietly love you with all his heart, Ozzie might just be your perfect match ❤️❤️
