Meet Oliver! He is a 1.5 year old purebred yorkie. He weighs 9.98 lbs. Yes, he is full grown and at a very healthy weight āŗļø He is just a great size. He loves adventure, so he would make a great traveling partner, and he could definitely keep up. We have discovered he has a love for climbing rocks, so if you are an outdoorsy person, and want a little guy who would love to always tag along then Oliver is definitely your guy!
He is neutered, microchipped, current on all vaccines, and had a wonderful overall wellness exam with our vet who has cleared him to find a home all his own š
He is crate trained, and currently sleeps in his crate at night very peacefully without any need to get up in the middle of the evening. He is very patient in the morning, and always waits to be let outside at your own pace š He also currently naps in his crate during the day and never fusses about it, so no matter what the purpose of his crate will be in his next home he will happily oblige. He could very well sleep on a dog bed anywhere in your home, in your bedroom, or in your bed at night if that's what you'd like to do ā¤ļø
He is house trained, and has done very well with a routine here with us where we let him out every 3-4 hours and never have any accidents inbetween so we encourage to have a similar structure in your home so he continues moving forward.
Leash training is new for him, so that's the one thing that will need to be worked with in his next home. His prior owner fell ill suddenly and didn't have the the strength, energy, or time needed to raise Oliver, let alone stick to any type of training. He was very transparent with us here when bringing Oliver to us, so that we could start working with him in the areas he needed most work with. He has been very easy to work with in all other areas of training, as he is a complete attention seeker and always looking for ways to please you so continuing where we leave off will leave you in a great spot with him!
He is amazing with other dogs; and cats alike. He is literally every single animal's friend that he meets and loves to love all of them if they allow him to! He will be an instant friend to any animal in your life, and if he is he only one in your home as long as you have attention and love to give him his little heart will flourish the same š
He is NOT a barker. He is very quiet, and serene tempered especially in the home. He understands and appreciates the down time that the day brings and takes advantage of every second of it especially if he can squeeze in a nap or two āŗļø
He is wonderful at our groomers and always enjoys his spa days with her š He is wonderful on road trips, so no matter where the road leads you he will happily tag along so that your days along with his are spent together making memories to last a lifetimeš„°
His adoption fee is 1500 in total.
It covers his neuter, vaccines, microchip/registration, exam with our vet, the care involved in the time he has been with us here, his grooming costs, and his training we have personally done with him š
