Jones 🩵

Jones is a purebred Miniature Schnauzer, born 3/23/25, and he is truly something so special. He is definitely at the top tier of the miniature size range, weighing in at 19.6 pounds. He is tall and leggy, but not tall enough to be considered a standard. Still, everything about him feels larger than life in the best possible way, because Jones is just one of those dogs you do not come across every day.

We have him listed as a traditional salt and pepper in color, but after getting him freshly groomed, we’ve noticed his coat leans even more into those beautiful silver tones. It gives him such a soft, distinguished look that matches his personality perfectly.

Jones came to us after his previous owner made the incredibly difficult decision to surrender him due to financial hardship. She loved him deeply and simply didn’t want him to ever go without. That kind of love speaks volumes, and we made a promise to her that we would find him a home that cherishes him just as much.

He is a gentle teddy bear of a Schnauzer, and the kind of boy you will feel proud beyond words to call your own. He has the most incredible heart and one of the gentlest spirits I have ever had the privilege of knowing. From the moment his eyes meet yours, you can see the depth in him. You can feel how much love is sitting inside that sweet soul just waiting to belong to someone. He is that dog. The kind of dog you will talk about for years to come. The kind of dog who leaves a mark on your heart so deep that someday you’ll still be telling your children and grandbabies all about him. He is truly phenomenal in every way, and I cannot wait to share his heart with the world, especially with that one special person or family who will cherish him with their whole heart ❤️

Jones is neutered, microchipped, current on all of his yearly vaccines, and had a wonderful overall physical exam with our vet who will be sending him home with a health certificate. We also had a fecal test sent out to the lab, which came back negative for all worms.

He is freshly groomed and looking so very handsome. He did incredible on the table and completely won over our groomer with his calm, trusting nature.

In the home, Jones is everything you could hope for and more. He has beautiful house manners and carries himself with such an easy, peaceful presence. He is not a barker, truly more quiet in nature and more of an observer than anything. He is naturally low key, but I do see him being as active or as relaxed as his person is. He will truly just fall into your life as if he has always been there.

He is AMAZING with other dogs and has even done wonderfully with cats. He loves everyone he meets and greets each person with the same genuine love. He is just that kind of dog.

He is great on road trips of any length, so if you love to travel or just enjoy having your best friend by your side, he is ready for it all. He walks beautifully on leash and will stay right by your side the entire time.

He is house trained and will go outside when asked throughout the day. He is also crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night in his crate, though he truly doesn’t need one and would be just as happy sleeping in his own bed in his next home. He is that well mannered.

His adoption fee is 1500, which covers all of his veterinary care, the time, love, and care he has received while with us, his grooming, and his training.

Jones is ready to give his whole heart to someone. All he needs now is a home that will give that same love right back 🩵
