Meet Comet, the sweet Velcro companion 💞

Comet is a beautiful little Maltese / Yorkie / Poodle mix born on May 13, 2025, weighing 9.5 lbs. Unlike his brother’s curls, Cosmo has a beautiful straighter coat, which is also hypoallergenic.

Comet came to us with his brother Cosmo after their previous family realized their demanding schedules simply didn’t allow them to give the boys the time and training they deserved. They loved them deeply and made the selfless decision to allow them the opportunity to flourish in homes where they could receive more individual attention.

While Comet absolutely adores his brother, we’ve noticed something special happening as he spends more time apart from him — his confidence is blossoming. Because of this, we are seeking individual homes for the boys, allowing each of them to form a deep bond with their own person and grow into the confident companions they are meant to be.

Comet is our sweet, sensitive boy. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once he trusts you he becomes the most loyal little companion imaginable. He will happily follow his person everywhere — a true Velcro dog who thrives on affection, reassurance, and connection.

His curiosity and gentle spirit make him incredibly endearing. Watching him gain confidence has been such a joy, and we know that in the right home he will absolutely flourish.

Comet is:

• Neutered

• Microchipped

• Current on vaccines

• Fully examined by our veterinarian including a dental exam (all great!)

He is crate trained and sleeps peacefully in his crate each night, though he can easily adapt to sleeping in a bed or snuggling with his person if that’s what his family prefers.

Comet is house trained and currently goes outside every 2–3 hours as needed.

Leash training is still new for him, simply because his previous family never had the time to start it. However, he is already learning and we expect leash skills to develop naturally once his confidence continues to grow and he has a family guiding him.

Adoption Fee: $1,500

This covers his veterinary care, neuter, microchip, vaccinations, grooming, training, and care while with us.
