Meet Owen. He is our sweet and beautifully natured little love ā„ļø He is a purebred yorkie. He weighs 6.1 lbs. Yes, he is full grown and at a very healthy weight.
He is neutered, microchipped, current on all vaccines, and had a wonderful overall wellness exam with our vet who has cleared him to find a home all his own š
He is crate trained, and currently sleeps in his crate at night all night without waking up even once š He also loves to lounge in there during the day, or for a midday nap if he can squeeze one in ā¤ļø He has a very adaptable personality, so if you wanted him in a dog bed aside yours, or in bed with you I'm certain he wouldn't have one single issue with the new arrangement āŗļø
He is house trained. Due to his small size, he is always accompanied outdoors, so we have him on a schedule throughout the day that he has learned to expect Every 3-4 hours. He is very patient and relies on us to take him out, so he will need your guidance in his next home too so that he knows he is always safe outdoors ā¤ļø
Leash training is a work in progress and will definitely need to be continued in his next home but he is so very smart and in time as his confidence in himself grows so will his confidence in the world š Good thing is that he is small enough to carry so until he learns the joy walks bring, he is able to give extra snuggles which are never a bad idea!!
He is wonderful with all animals. He is very shy, but warms up very quickly to every single dog/cat he has ever met. He is a extremely sweet, and docile so having another equally tempered friend in his next home would great for him. If there aren't any other animals in his next home, that's fine too as he would love being the center of his humans world any time of the day š„°
He truly is the kindest little boy you'll ever meet, and while he LOVES everyone he does take time get to know anyone new. He is one to wait for you to come to him in the beginning but once he knows you you'll see his entire little self light up when he knows you are about to shower him with love and attention ā¤ļø
He is not a barker at all. He is very serene tempered and naturally just calm, and quiet. He is that ultimate companion who simply will thrive from spending his days alongside yours, and knowing they get to start all over again with you by his side ā¤ļø
He is very affectionate, loving, and one little fella you won't want to live without and that's a promise!! You'll be sad you didn't find him sooner, so you could love him longer āŗļø
He is wonderful on road trips, so no matter where you decide to let the road take you both it'll be so much nicer having someone like Owen to share the journey with. He loves our groomer, and is always happy to see her when we arrive so looking handsome for his new human will be an easy task!
His adoption fee is 1500.
It covers his neuter, vaccines, microchip/registration, exam with our vet, the care involved in the time he has been with us here, his grooming costs, and his training we have personally done with him š
