Adopted ❤️
Lily was born on August 8, 2023, and is now just over 2 years old. At 9.5 lbs, she is fully grown and at a perfectly healthy weight. She has a naturally petite, smaller frame that makes her appear dainty, but she carries herself with a quiet confidence and gentle presence that draws everyone in ❤️
She has received excellent veterinary care while with us and is officially ready for her forever home. Lily is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. While under anesthesia, she had her teeth cleaned and polished so her smile is fresh, and her ears were carefully treated for a double ear infection. To support her recovery, she also received an antibiotic injection to help her heal from both her spay and dental procedure. Her overall exam was fantastic, and her vet gave her a full green light to begin the next chapter of her life.
Lily’s daily routine is simple and easy. She is house trained and goes outside every few hours, usually about every four. She likes to get her business done quickly and doesn’t enjoy lingering outdoors unless her person is with her — what matters most to Lily is being in their presence. She is crate trained and sleeps peacefully in her crate at night, often curling up for naps during the day as well. She would easily adjust to a cozy dog bed in the home, and we know she would be overjoyed to sleep in bed with her person if invited.
She is also leash trained and enjoys her walks. In her past life, walks weren’t part of her normal routine, but with time and patience she has grown tremendously in confidence. Now, she steps out with her head a little higher each day, proud to explore the world with her trusted human. Lily also rides beautifully in the car, making her the perfect little sidekick for errands around town or even longer road trips. She settles right in and seems to enjoy every minute, which makes the idea of future adventures all the more exciting for her next family.
Lily is wonderful at the groomer and loves being dolled up. She absolutely soaks in the attention and beams when told how pretty she is. Pair that with cuddles and loving words, and you’ll have one very happy little girl.
At home, Lily has wonderful manners and is extremely well behaved. She is respectful, gentle, and naturally serene tempered. She gets along well with both dogs and cats, though she doesn’t play with them. Her heart is fully wrapped up in her person, and she will thrive most as the one and only princess in her new home. She isn’t a barker, but she may give a soft alert if something unfamiliar catches her attention — usually to let her person know she’s on duty and ready to follow them as backup.
Her personality is endlessly sweet. Lily is a total velcro dog, happiest when she is at your feet, in your lap, or simply close by as part of your day. She is not high energy and would rather relax and share quiet companionship. Whether that’s cuddling during your favorite show, lounging nearby while you work at your desk, or curling up for an afternoon nap, Lily is content as long as she’s near you. She is patient and understanding, waiting with gentle tail wags and ready kisses for when your day slows down and your attention is back on her. She’s also a foodie at heart, so having a special spot in the house — maybe a treat jar or even her own snack drawer — would surely delight her and make her feel spoiled in the best way.
Lily’s story is a touching one. She was dearly loved by her previous owner, an elderly gentleman who adored her. In the last year of his life, his mobility declined, and even with in-home assistance, he could no longer keep up with her daily needs the way he wanted to. Out of love and selflessness, he chose to surrender her to us so she could continue to live the full and joyful life he always wished for her. Because of the special bond they shared, Lily carries a particular fondness for men, though she loves women and children too and has never met a stranger she didn’t warm up to.
Her adoption fee is $2,000, which helps cover the cost of her spay, vaccines, microchip, dental cleaning, ear treatments, exam, and the care, training, and love she has received during her time with us.
✨ Lily is ready to be someone’s cherished shadow, beloved travel buddy, and forever best friend. She has so much love to give and is waiting for the family who will treasure her just as much as she treasures them. Could that be you? ✨
