Meet Foxy ❤️

Born July 17, 2025, Foxy is a beautiful full grown Pomeranian/Shih Tzu mix weighing 7.5 pounds. She has the sweetest, most loving personality and has a way of making everyone she meets fall in love with her. Foxy is playful, happy, and full of life, but she also has such a gentle and affectionate side that makes her incredibly easy to adore. She loves people, does wonderfully with other dogs and animals, and truly thrives on being close to those she loves.

Foxy inherited more of the Shih Tzu side in her coat, making her wonderfully soft and only a very mild shedder. She absolutely enjoys her grooming appointments and looks forward to a good spa day. She is wonderful with our groomers and enjoys all the extra attention that comes with being pampered.

Her previous owner was a young mother who loved her dearly. Following a breakup, she moved back in with family while returning to school and trying to rebuild her life. Unfortunately, the resident dogs in the home were not kind to little dogs, and she knew Foxy deserved a safer and happier environment. Although it broke her heart, she made the selfless decision to allow us to help find the loving forever home Foxy deserves.

Foxy is not a barker, though she will let you know if she hears something unusual before quickly settling back down. She travels beautifully and enjoys road trips of any length. She simply loves being with her people and is happy wherever they are. She is crate trained when necessary, though she much prefers having a soft bed in an enclosed room or laundry area when everyone is away.

She has done wonderfully going outside on a schedule, and because of her small size and the wildlife we have here, she has always been accompanied outdoors. Continuing that routine will help her transition smoothly into her next home.

Foxy is doing beautifully with leash training and enjoys leisurely walks where she can stay close to her people and take in the world around her. She is eager to please and has been an absolute joy to work with. She truly enjoys that one-on-one time and loves being included in all of life’s little adventures.

Foxy is one of those rare little dogs that is simply easy to love. She is affectionate, well mannered, and genuinely happy. She has brought so much joy to our family and we know she will bring that same joy, laughter, and companionship to the family lucky enough to call her their own.

Foxy’s adoption fee is $2,000. Her fee includes her spay, current vaccinations, microchip, and a thorough examination with our veterinarian, which went beautifully. A few retained baby teeth that had not fallen out naturally were removed, and her overall dental health is excellent. Her adoption fee also helps cover the months of care, grooming, socialization, and training we have devoted to preparing her for the beautiful future that lies ahead.
