Every once in a while, a dog comes into your life who reminds you just how deeply animals are capable of loving.

Ember is one of those dogs.

There is something incredibly special about her that is difficult to put into words. From the moment she quietly walks into a room, you feel it. She has a warmth about her that brings a sense of peace to everyone around her. She doesn’t demand attention or insist on being the center of it. Instead, she simply finds her place beside you, resting her head against your leg or gently leaning into you as if she’s saying, “I’m here.”

She has an incredible ability to tune into the emotions of the people she loves. On the days your heart feels heavy, she’ll quietly snuggle into you without being asked. On the good days, she’s right there sharing in your joy. There is a kindness within Ember that simply can’t be taught. It’s simply who she is.

At just eight months old, Ember has a maturity that continually surprises us. She carries herself with a quiet confidence and gentle grace that makes everyone she meets feel as though they’ve known her forever. She truly is one of those once-in-a-lifetime companions whose heart leaves an impression long before she ever leaves the room.

When Ember’s family moved into a rental that unfortunately did not allow pets, they were faced with the heartbreaking decision of finding someone they could trust to help her. They loved her enough to put her needs before their own and asked us to find the family she deserves. We promised them we would do exactly that.

Ember is a beautiful apricot-red Poodle who falls somewhere between a Moyen and a Standard in size, making her a wonderful fit for those who love the breed but appreciate a slightly smaller companion.

She is fully house trained and happily goes outside throughout the day when asked. She is crate trained and sleeps peacefully in her crate at night if her family prefers, although she’s such a respectful and well-mannered girl that she doesn’t require one when left home alone.

She is wonderful at the groomer and takes every appointment in stride, making grooming a stress-free experience for everyone involved.

She absolutely loves other dogs and does beautifully with cats. She adores people, has never met a stranger, and isn’t a barker. Her calm, gentle nature follows her wherever she goes, making her an easy companion to welcome into almost any home.

More than anything, Ember simply wants to share life with her people. Whether you’re enjoying a quiet evening at home, taking a walk together, or simply sitting on the couch after a long day, she’s happiest just being by your side.

We often say every dog has something special about them.

With Ember, that something is her heart.

It’s genuine.

It’s gentle.

And it’s the kind of love most people are fortunate enough to experience only once in a lifetime.

Ember’s adoption fee is $2,000, which includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations, health certificate from our veterinarian, and all of the veterinary care, training, socialization, love, and time that has been invested in preparing her for the next chapter of her life.
