Meet Cosmo, the little gentleman with a heart of gold 💛

Cosmo is an adorable Maltese / Yorkie / Poodle mix born on May 13, 2025, weighing 7.25 lbs. With his soft curly poodle coat and gentle eyes, Comet is as adorable as he is loving. His coat is hypoallergenic, making him a wonderful option for those with allergies.

Cosmo and his brother Comet came to our rescue after their previous family lovingly recognized that their busy schedules prevented them from giving the boys the time and training they deserved. They raised the boys from birth after owning their parents, but ultimately chose to give them the chance at homes where they could receive more individual attention and opportunity to flourish.

Although Cosmo and Comet love one another dearly, we have found that when they spend time apart they each begin to develop stronger bonds with the humans around them. Because of this, we are seeking separate homes for the boys so they can fully grow into their own personalities and build deep connections with their new families.

Cosmo is our charmer. He is naturally outgoing, affectionate, and incredibly sweet. If you are looking for a dog who loves to be held and adored, Cosmo is your boy.

Snuggle sessions are very important to him. He absolutely melts when he’s being cuddled and is happiest when he can sit close to his person. Cosmo is the type of dog who will quietly gaze at you, waiting to make eye contact, because being engaged with the one he loves is his favorite thing in the world.

His temperament is calm, gentle, and serene. He has a naturally peaceful nature that makes him a wonderful companion for many types of homes.

Cosmo is:

• Neutered

• Microchipped

• Current on vaccines

• Thoroughly examined by our veterinarian including a dental exam (all perfect!)

He is crate trained and sleeps peacefully in his crate at night, though he can easily adapt to sleeping in a dog bed or snuggled up with his family.

Cosmo is house trained and currently goes outside every 2–3 hours as needed.

Leash training is still new, but he is learning quickly and will continue gaining confidence as he bonds with his new family.

Cosmo is also:

• Polite and well behaved in the home

This covers all veterinary care, neuter, microchip, vaccinations, grooming, training, and care while in our rescue.
