Moose

Approximate Birthday: 9/25/25

Weight: ___ lbs

Moose is my heart dog in this trio. My big, beautiful teddy bear who from the very first moment has wanted nothing more than to be right in the center of my world… and he will absolutely want the same in yours ❤️

There is just something about him. The way he looks at you, the way he melts into your arms like he’s a tiny baby even though he’s not so tiny… he carries this softness in his soul that you don’t come across often. Moose isn’t just a puppy, he’s comfort, he’s companionship, he’s that once-in-a-lifetime kind of connection that you’ll carry with you forever.

He loves to be held, truly loves it… and if you’re someone who wants a dog that will be your shadow, your best friend, your constant… Moose is that boy.

Moose is a poodle/cocker spaniel mix with a beautiful hypoallergenic coat, and we expect him to be around 18–20 lbs full grown, though he may be slightly larger than his siblings as he is our big boy 😊

Moose came to us under incredibly heartbreaking circumstances. His previous owner had quietly battled cancer, and after reaching remission, decided to bring a little light back into her life. What started as going to pick up one puppy turned into her bringing all three home… she simply couldn’t leave the others behind. Her world of one became a family of four overnight.

Sadly, her remission was short-lived, and when her cancer returned, it came back with a vengeance. She passed away quietly in her home, and a compassionate neighbor, knowing the puppies were there, stepped in and worked with the owner’s daughter, who was unable to take them, to ensure they found a safe place… which is how Moose made his way to us.

We had no prior vet records, so we started fresh with his care. Moose has received multiple rounds of DA2PP vaccines, two Bordetella vaccines, and his rabies vaccine. He had a fecal test sent to the lab which came back negative, is microchipped, and has had a full veterinary exam with a health certificate ready for his adopting family.

He has not yet been neutered, as we prefer to allow proper growth and development. He will go home on a neuter contract with recommended timing between 10–12 months of age.

Moose is doing beautifully with house training on a consistent schedule, going outside every 2–3 hours which has kept our home accident free. He is crate trained, sleeps peacefully through the night, and rides wonderfully in the car.

He is great with other dogs, wonderful with cats, and incredibly gentle with men, women, and children alike. He does great with our groomer, bath time between grooms, and is a total water lover 💦

Leash training will be new for him, but with a little patience and a treat pouch, he will pick it up quickly. He is very food motivated, so continuing his training through positive reinforcement will be key.

Moose has such a big heart, and while saying goodbye to his siblings may take a moment of adjustment, once he feels the love and security of his new home, he will settle in beautifully and give you everything he has to offer… which is truly everything ❤️

Adoption fee: 1500

This covers the care, time, training, socialization, grooming, and full veterinary work we have invested into him.
