Meet Annie ❤️ She turns 3 on January 25th 2025. She is a toy Maltese/poodle mix. She has more of the Maltese coat, and yes she is hypoallergenic. She is tiny weighing in right at the 5 lb mark. Yes, she is full grown and at a very healthy weight. She is spayed, and microchipped. She will be current on all vaccines, and cleared by our vet prior to adoption.
She is pad trained, and will only go outside accompanied as she is too small to be left outside by herself. If you don't want her to use pads, she will happily potty outside, you just need to have a schedule in taking her outside so she knows your expectations of her as she is always eager to please.
She is crate trained, and will happily sleep in her crate at night very peacefully, or to nap in during the day. She does not need a crate, as she is very well behaved in the home, and will sleep on a bed anywhere in the home if you need to step out for any given time. She will happily sleep in bed with you, if that's what you prefer, or will simply sleep in a bed aside yours in your room at night if you don't prefer a crate.
She is leash trained on a harness. She loves her little walks. If you want to push her in a stroller, or carry her in a pouch you can do that too 😂 but she truly does love to walk, as she is happy being able to be a part of your walk, walking right aside you (or shortly ahead if there is an interesting smell to investigate!)
She has amazing recall, and will always look for you when called and come running when she locks eyes. She is always happy!! She loves to dance, and will stand on her back legs just because she is happy that you are talking to her and giving her the attention her little heart craves 🥰
She is NOT a barker at all. She is very low energy, and has a very serene, low-key personality. She tired herself out easily, and never turns down a nap 😂 making pleasing her extremely easy, as her attention is always on you when you want it to be and she gives you full attention (which is hard work for a little one 😂.)
She truly is a gem, and one that you will be happy being able to call YOURS ❤️ She is phenomenal with other dogs, and cats alike. She has been around all sizes of dogs, and does extremely well with them, we just watch them with her due to her size. She is definitely a people dog though and will choose her person over another animal any time of the day as that's where her happiness lays ☺️
She is great on road trips, and would make the perfect road trip partner ❤️ She is wonderful at her spa days with our groomer, especially when she gets told how pretty she is when we bring her home 💕
She LOVES everyone she meets, and will instantly become YOUR girl and find a place in your heart that you didn't know needed to be filled and will overfill it with joy, and love for a lifetime to come 😊
Her prior owner passed away ❤️🩹 She was placed into the care of a neighbor, as her owner had no surviving family members to take her in. She worked long hours so she was home by herself throughout the day. She didn't know what to do, but didn't want to take her to the shelter, so she contacted us finally and asked us to take her in and find her someone who would cherish her as she had been cherished her whole life so here we are doing just that ❤️
Her adoption fee is set at 1500.
It covers her vet costs, the care involved in the time she has been here with us, her grooming costs; along with the training we have personally done with her.
