Meet Luna 😊 She is a 3 year old Maltipoo (Maltese poodle) ❤️ She weighs right under 6 1/2 lbs. Yes, she is full grown and at a very healthy weight. She is just naturally small ☺️She is already spayed and microchipped. She had an exam with our vet, and overall it went great. He did notice tartar on her teeth, along with a bit of swelling in her gums so he gave her an antibiotic injection in preparation of her dental cleaning which is set for 2/18/25 where she will also receive her yearly vaccines. She will officially be cleared to find a home all her own, after her dental cleaning is done!
She is house trained, and will happily go outside when asked to if she needs to. If she doesn't, she will simply stay back and wait for you to rejoin her doing whatever it was before you opened the door! Due to her small size she is always accompanied outside because of the wildlife we have here and she doesn't mind the company one bit!
She is crate trained, and currently sleeps peacefully all night in her crate. She does sleep anywhere she chooses throughout the day, so if you wanted to have her sleep on a bed aside yours, or in bed with you I'm sure she won't put up much of a fuss and would probably be excited to be closer to you!
She is leash trained, and really loves her walks. She is very outgoing, and once she settles in and knows you are her family she will shower you with love, kisses, and lots of snuggles!!! She is a happy girl, and very confident in the world, so it's always a joy to see her little spirit light up experiencing every ounce of life she can get ❤️❤️❤️
She is wonderful with dogs and cats! She would make a great friend to either, and while she doesn't play much she sure knows how to enjoy herself while in the company of other animals, by just prancing around, checking everything out, helping you in the garden (by keeping you company 🙃,) or simply finding the best places to take a good nap!! She doesn't need another animal in her next home, as long as she has the company of her person she will be happy every day moving forward ❤️
She is not a barker; and sometimes will alert you of nosies she isn't to sure of, but for the most part will let them be and allow you to take care of whatever it is, especially if she is ready for her daily nap and has already made her spot nice and warm 🙃
She has amazing house manners, and is at the perfect age where she can be trusted anywhere in your home when you don't have your eyes on her. She is very easy going, and has a go with the flow personality especially during car rides! She loves being able to look out the windows, so we highly reccomend a doggy booster seat when traveling so she is eye level to the window, but still comfortable enough to be able to take a snooze if she wants to!
She is as sweet as pie, and will add to your life in ways you didn't know you needed as well as fill your hearts with love, and joy so if you have space in your
life for a sweet, gentle, special little girl then make that girl our precious Luna!!!
Her adoption fee is 2000 in total.
It covers all vetting mentioned (spay, vaccines, microchip/registration, dental (with possible extractions,) her antibiotic injection, and exam with our vet.) It also contributes to the care involved in the time she has been with us, her grooming costs (she LOVES her spa days!,) and the training we have personally done with her.
