Adopted 💙💙💙
Meet Winston! He is a purebred 1.5 year old miniature schnauzer. He is salt and pepper in color. He weighs 20 lbs and yes he is full grown and at a healthy weight. He is fully vetted, and has been cleared by our vet to find a home all his own!
He is crate trained, and currently sleeps in a crate at night, or to nap during the day.
He is working on leash confidence as it's still pretty new to him, but we have been working on it with him as much as we can around our home due to the extreme high temperatures we have been getting.
He is really good about going outside to use the restroom when needed. He does need to be reminded at times but a little encouragement goes a long way ❤️
He is very smart, and aims to please. He is NOT a barker, but will alert you of unfamiliar noises. He is phenomenal on road trips. Loves his spa days with our groomer, and has developed quite the relationship with her as he loves being pampered ☺️
He is wonderful with every single dog he has met, small or large. He is very good with people; but is shy when meeting you at first, but it's guaranteed that you will have a friend for life once he opens up and lets you into his heart ♥️
He is not possessive or territorial of anything at all. He shares his food just fine, and his toys too! He is a total love bug, and will make his next family lucky to be able to call him theirs 💙💙💙
His prior owner surrendered him along with his two siblings (check out their posts as well!) because he admitted it was their moms first litter (she only had 3) and he fell in love with them, and felt like he could give them all a good life with his family, but as they matured, he realized keeping that many was much more work than he had realized, and came to the realization that they deserved a family all their own so he reached out to us to take them in.
Adoption fee is 2000 in total. It covers his vetting in full, overall time, care, and training since with us these last couple of months. He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, had a dental exam, and ears examined and both teeth and ears are in great health. He had a wonderful overall physical exam with our vet, and has been given a health certificate to go home with his new adopting family.
Yes, he has a natural tail. His prior family didn't dock their tails when born, so they remained natural as they matured 💙
