Meet Minnie. She is a purebred miniature schnauzer. She weighs right above 14 lbs. Yes, she is full grown and at a very healthy weight ❤️ She turned 3 years of age on 2/21/25. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, had a dental cleaning done, along with an exam with our vet who has cleared her to find a home all her own 😊

She is house trained and is very good about sitting at the door when she needs to go out to potty. She is very patient and understands a good routine. She has learned that throughout the day we will open our back door and ask her if she needs to go outside so for the most part she never really has to ask.

She is crate trained, and currently sleeps in her crate at night only. On occasion she will come into our room and sleep on a dog bed aside ours. She is very easy going, and doesn't mind what sleeping arrangement you set up for her, she will always happily comply.

She is leash trained, and really loves her walks. She isn't a dog that needs constant walks, but is always appreciative of them when she does get them even if it's just a quick stroll to the mailbox she will be ready to join you!!

She is wonderful with dogs, and cats alike. She has a very sweet soul and while she doesn't really play with other dogs she does offer GREAT companionship to them. Whether you have another sweet friend for her to join in life or not, as long as she has you that's all that will ever matter to her happiness ❤️

She is NOT a barker, but will on occasion alert you of unfamiliar noises. She is a very quick learner, and listens extremely well. A quick no barking let's her know if you have it under control 😊

She is very well behaved in the home, and while she loves knowing what's going on around her, and especially her family she just loves being a part of whatever your day looks like. If you are working on your computer she will nap near by. If you are cooking in the kitchen, that may be the only time she is alert hoping you don't forget about bringing her a snack too 😉

She is a very kind hearted, beautifully tempered, calm and loving girl who is looking for a home and family all her own. She doesn't ask for a lot at all, and will make you happy just knowing your days are filled with her a part of them.

She is wonderful on road trips of any length, so if you would like her to hit the road with you she will be at the door before you are!! She is always ready for adventures with her human, so trust me that you won't ever have to ask her twice 💙

She is phenomenal at the groomers, and LOVES a good spa day. She is always excited to come home knowing she looks and feels her best ❤️

Her prior owner traveled out of state for work a lot, and while he used to take Minnie with him, his job required more and more of his time leaving him unable to care for her and having to leave her back home with a dog sitter. He felt very guilty the more he had to leave her behind as she wasn't used to his absence at all, so in the end he knew her happiness mattered the most to him so he contacted us to take her in and find her the absolute best home and human to love her the way she deserved. 

Her adoption fee is 2000. 

It covers her overall vet costs. She is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. We had blood work done along with a dental cleaning and polish. She needed a few extractions, but overall her teeth were in great health. She had a wonderful exam with our vet as well, and yes all medical records will go home with her! 

As always her adoption fee also goes back into the care involved in her overall time with us, her grooming costs, and her training we have personally done with her ❤️
