Lacey

Adopted by a beautiful family with our other adorable little girl Daisy ❤️

Meet our amazingly sweet girl Lacey. She is a purebred Yorkie. She weighs right at the 10 lb mark. Yes, she is full grown and at a healthy weight. She turned 2 years of age on 5/4/25. She is spayed, microchipped, current on all of her yearly vaccines, had a dental cleaning and polish done, (her teeth were in overall great health,) had a double ear infection that was treated and had an overall wonderful exam with our vet who has cleared her to find a home all her own ❤️

She is house trained, and will go outside every 3 hours to use the restroom as needed. If she doesn't need to go outside, she will simply stay back and wait for you to either come back and join her, or she will hurry to keep your seat warm hoping she secured a place in your lap if you were working at your computer as a thank you for keeping your seat warm 😂 she is always thinking about her person 🥹 

She is working on leash confidence as she never really was accustomed to walks in her prior home due to mobility issues her owner faced which was ultimately the deciding factor in asking us to take her in. She knew she couldn't offer Lacey much outside of her home, and it had gotten to the point where she could no longer bend down and pick her up (which she loved and didn't understand why her mom could no longer lift her, which broke both of their hearts.) Saying goodbye was not easy, but in the end it was the right thing to do so that Lacey could live a life full of all things that made her happy, starting with being in her persons arms again❤️

She is learning the leash, and in time will master it especially knowing that it means more time with her person doing what they enjoy most (hanging out with eachother ☺️.) 

She is crate trained, and currently sleeps in her crate at night only. If you wanted her in bed with you, or in a bed of her own she will happily accept that arrangement but in the meantime would peacefully sleep in her crate until you are sure where you would like her to be at night. She has very good house manners, and if she isn't at your feet, or on a bed near by, she is always looking for the space chair in the house to keep warm for you til you can join her 🙂

She is amazing with other dogs and cats alike. And while she makes GREAT company to any sweet friend you may have, it is not necessary in her next home as her true happiness stems from her humans, so whether there is one of you, or a whole ready made family her heart will be full just being a part of what makes YOU and YOUR world complete 💕

She is not a barker, but will on occasion alert you of unfamiliar noises. She listens very well, and will stop immediately when asked to. She minds her human, and aims to please every chance she gets, she just wants to know you are safe too but equally loves feeling secure knowing you can keep her safe too ❤️

She is wonderful on road trips of any length, and will keep one paw on you if she can. She enjoys the middle console, so we have her travel in a booster seat made especially to fit the middle console, which she absolutely loves. Whether you want a friend to travel around town with, or to go on long adventures she will be your GIRL for every single ride! 

She is AMAZING with men, women, and children alike. She had a very special connection to her previous owners grandchildren so if you have children in your home, or life she will always be excited to have them around sharing the sweet playful side to her that comes out and shines bright when they are around ❤️ 

Otherwise she has a very calm, beautifully natured, naturally serene temperament and is NOT high maintenance whatsoever. She communicates very well, and when she is ready to come inside after using the restroom she will bark lightly at the door. She is a total foodie at heart too and if you don't have a special treat drawyer yet, she will definitely give you a reason to 😂 She is made of all things beautiful inside and out, and we are so excited to be a part of her journey home ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Her adoption fee is 2000 in total.

It covers her spay, vaccines, microchip/registration, dental cleaning (her teeth were in overall great health, they just needed a good clean and polish.) the treatment of a double ear infection (which is cleared up ☺️,) and her overall physical exam (which went great!) 

As always her adoption fee also goes back into the care involved in the few months she has been with us, her grooming costs, and training we have personally done with her ❤️
