Meet our Shorkie brothers ๐๐
They are 8 months of age, and are shih tzu/yorkie mix. They are set to be neutered on 12/3/24 and will officially be available for adoption soon after. They will be current on all vaccines, microchipped, thourely examined, and cleared by our vet prior to going to their new families โบ๏ธ They are small, and if I wouldย have to guess I would say they are between 7-8 lbs and with only another month or two until they are considered full grown I don't anticipate much more growth as both parents were under 10 lbs. I will update their weights once I have them ๐
They DO NOT need to be adopted together. They both are VERY confident outside of one another, and will do amazing in homes all their own where all attention is on them ๐ If you have another dog, or cat at home they would happily and instantly become friends with them for life ๐ฅฐ They get along beautifully with all animals, and were raised with cats prior to coming to us here! They have very fun loving, playful demeanors and will love you from the moment they meet you as it's just who they are!
They are crate trained, and currently sleep in separate crates at night. They do great in their own space. They would happily sleep on a dog bed aside yours, or join you in bed if you prefer so changing their sleeping arrangements won't be a hard task at all as they both are very easy going and would never turn away being closer to those they love most ๐
They are house trained, and do very well going outside throughout the day when they need to use the restroom. We do have a schedule here for them, and as long as you set up a good routine in your home as well they will follow suit as they did here with their restroom habits. They are very smart, and are eager to please so they have done well with our expectations of them in every area of training.ย
They haven't been introduced to the leash outside of our home here, as we were waiting for their yearly vaccines to be given which will happen when they are neutered. They do pretty well around the property on harnesses and I can imagine once their world expands outside of our walls how excited they will be to explore all that's in it!
They are wonderful at the groomers, and love to be pampered ๐ They are wonderful on road trips around town, especially when they are able to look out the window and take in everything that is happening around them. They are NOT barkers, but will playfully โtalkโ when they are happy and enjoying running around with their dog friends here ๐
Charlie is definitely our lover boy! Charlie is our light tan/cream male. He is very independently natured, but does like to pull on your heart strings at times so that he can be given the attention he craves in that moment. He will lay his head into your chest when held, and you can feel how much he enjoys just being right there in your arms ๐ฅฐ He truly is the best snuggle buddy ๐ Chase is definitely more of the fearless go-getter kind of guy where he is always ready for adventures, toys, new friends, and everything in between. They BOTH love to be loved, just one has learned how to ask for it ๐
Both are treat motivated, and will try their hardest to win you over with their cute antics so that treat time lasts long enough to convince you they need a couple extra ๐
They are wonderful with everyone they meet and equally love men, women, and children alike!! Either of these precious boys will fill your heart, and home with an over abundance of joy, and laughter so no matter whom you choose you will have gained a new link to your heart that you didn't know was missing ๐๐
Their adoption fee is 1500 each.ย
It covers their neuter, general anesthesia, antibiotic shot that aids in the recovery of their neuter, their pain meds to go home, their exam with our vet, the overall care involved in the few months they have been here with us including their grooming costs, and as always it contributes to the training we have personally done with them โบ๏ธ
Transport costs are in addition to their adoption fee pending where you are located if you need us to come to you which we will gladly do โฅ๏ธ
