Meet Milo 🩵

If you’ve been searching for that once-in-a-lifetime kind of dog, the one everyone remembers and wonders how they ever got so lucky to have, we would love to introduce you to Milo.

Milo is a one-year-old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix with a beautiful hypoallergenic coat. He weighs just under 11 pounds, is full grown, and at a healthy weight. He truly is the perfect size to accompany you wherever life takes you. Whether it’s a quiet evening at home, a weekend road trip, or simply running errands around town, Milo is happiest when he gets to be by your side.

His previous owner loved him dearly, but after experiencing reduced work hours and moving into a smaller apartment, she found herself unable to afford the pet fees that came along with her new living situation. Knowing she never wanted Milo to go without or settle for anything less than the life he deserved, she reached out to us and entrusted us with helping him find the absolute best home and family. It was a decision made entirely out of love, and we promised her we would find him exactly that.

Milo is truly a social butterfly. He loves every single person he meets and has never met a stranger. Everyone is simply a friend he hasn’t said hello to yet. He absolutely adores other dogs and approaches life with a happy-go-lucky attitude that shines through in everything he does. There is something so refreshing about his spirit. He simply wakes up each day excited to be alive and grateful to be part of whatever is happening around him.

He is incredibly eager to please and always comes when called, which has made training with him a joy. While treats certainly don’t hurt, Milo doesn’t need much convincing. He comes simply because he loves his people and wants to be with them. That kind of loyalty and affection is something truly special.

Milo has wonderful house manners and is crate trained, sleeping quietly in his crate at night and when we step out during the day. Although he is comfortable in his crate, he would transition beautifully to sleeping on a dog bed or beside his people, as he is such an easygoing and adaptable boy. He is house trained and happily goes outside to use the restroom throughout the day, usually every two to three hours when asked.

He loves to play and run around, but he also knows how to relax and lounge with a favorite toy nearby. He enjoys his walks and does wonderfully on leash. He travels beautifully and is happy to accompany you on road trips of any length. Milo isn’t much of a barker, though he will occasionally let you know if something catches his attention before quickly returning to his happy little self.

Milo is wonderful at the groomers and absolutely enjoys all the attention that comes with spa day. He especially loves being told how handsome he is, and if those compliments happen to come with ear rubs and kisses, well, that’s just icing on the cake.

What we love most about Milo is how easy he is to love. He has this beautiful balance of being playful without being wild, affectionate without being demanding, and social without being overwhelming. He is calm, happy, gentle, and genuinely one of those dogs everyone falls in love with. We truly believe every dog lover deserves to have a friend like Milo at least once in their lifetime.

Milo is neutered, current on all vaccinations, microchipped, and has been thoroughly examined by our veterinarian, including a dental examination. He has been 100% and is offically ready for adoption.

Milo’s adoption fee is $1,500.

His fee also helps cover his the months of love, care, grooming, socialization, and training we have invested in preparing him for this exciting next chapter in his life.
