Ivy is the kind of soul that teaches you to slow down.
She is soft, gentle, and incredibly serene—carrying a quiet presence that feels almost calming just to be around. At 2 years of age weighing around 5–6 pounds fully grown, she is as delicate in spirit as she is in size.
Ivy is the shy one. Not fearful in a way that pushes you away, but tender in a way that asks you to meet her gently, to give her time, and to allow her to come forward on her own terms.
And when she does… it is something truly special.
Ivy came to us with her sisters after their previous owner made the difficult but loving decision to surrender them due to a busy schedule. While transitions can be harder for a soul like Ivy, she has been slowly opening up, learning she is safe, and beginning to trust in the most beautiful, quiet ways.
She is wonderful with other dogs and does great with cats as well. She is very sweet with people, but will absolutely need a patient, understanding home that allows her the space to grow into her independence as she navigates life without her sisters by her side.
Ivy is not a barker at all. She is incredibly quiet—one of the most serene little temperaments you’ll come across. She brings a sense of calm with her wherever she goes.
She is great on road trips and settles in peacefully, making her an easy companion for both everyday life and longer travels. She is also excellent at the groomer and handles grooming with ease.
Ivy is pad trained and does well with consistency. Due to her tiny size, she depends on her person for all outdoor time, including potty breaks. A calm, predictable routine will help her continue to build confidence.
She is crate trained, which for us means she sleeps peacefully through the night in her crate. She can also do very well in a small, secure, confined space if a crate is not preferred.
She is not leash trained yet, and that will be something her adopter can gently introduce over time. Carrying her initially will be easy and will help her safely experience the world as she builds confidence.
Ivy will be spayed and receive a dental cleaning prior to adoption. She will go home current on vaccines, microchipped, and with a full veterinary exam and health certificate.
Her adoption fee is $2000.
Ivy is not for someone looking for instant confidence or bold energy.
She is for someone who understands that the quiet ones… the gentle ones… the ones who take a little more time… often end up loving the deepest.
And with Ivy, that kind of love will be worth everything.
